Privacy Policy

The Short Version

InvoiceGen is built to work without collecting your data. You can create and download invoices without an account. Your invoice data lives in your browser unless you explicitly save it to your account for cross-device access. We do not sell personal data, we do not run ads, and we do not send marketing emails.

Data Stored in Your Browser

When you build an invoice, the data you enter (your business details, client details, line items, logo) is stored in your browser’s local storage on your own device so your draft survives a page reload. This data never leaves your device unless you use the cloud save feature described below.

Cloud Save and Accounts

If you save an invoice to history while online, it is stored on our servers so you can retrieve it later. Anonymous users are identified by a random device token stored in your browser — it contains no personal information.

You may optionally create an account with your email address or sign in with Google (authentication is handled by Supabase). Creating an account links your saved invoices to it so you can access them across devices. We store only what is needed to operate the service: your email address and your saved invoices.

Cookies

We use a single first-party cookie to keep you signed in (an authentication refresh token). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Service Providers

InvoiceGen runs on infrastructure provided by Vercel (web hosting), Cloudflare (DNS and network security), Amazon Web Services (application server), and Supabase (authentication). These providers process data only as needed to host and secure the service.

What We Don’t Do

  • We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
  • We do not show ads or share your invoice contents with ad networks.
  • We do not send marketing emails.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete saved invoices from your history at any time, and clearing your browser storage removes all local data. If you have an account and want it and its data removed, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted prominently on the site.
