InvoiceGen is designed to work primarily in your browser. Your invoice data — client names, amounts, line items — is stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers, unless you explicitly choose to create an account and sync. This means your sensitive business information stays on your device by default.

What Data Is Stored

Without an account, the only data stored is your invoice content in your browser's local storage. We do not track which clients you invoice, what amounts you bill, or any financial details. Basic analytics (page views, feature usage) are collected anonymously to improve the product.

No Tracking of Business Data

InvoiceGen does not sell, share, or analyze your invoice content. Your client names, rates, and financial details are never transmitted to third-party services, advertising networks, or data brokers. The PDF is generated in your browser, meaning the invoice content does not pass through our servers.

Optional Cloud Sync Security

If you create an account to sync invoices across devices, your data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in encrypted databases. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. Cloud sync is entirely optional — the full invoice generator works without it.

Does InvoiceGen sell my data to third parties?
No. InvoiceGen does not sell, rent, or share your personal or business data with any third party. Revenue comes from the product, not from your data.
Is InvoiceGen GDPR compliant?
Yes. InvoiceGen collects minimal data, provides data export and deletion capabilities, and does not use invasive tracking. EU users can request a full export or deletion of their data at any time.
How do I delete all my data from InvoiceGen?
Clear your browser's local storage to remove local data. If you have an account, go to account settings and use the "Delete Account" option to permanently remove all cloud-stored invoices and personal information.
